M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. CONTRACT DESCRIPTION A. The proposed improvements, hereinafter called the Work, is located as follows: 1. The City of Keene Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) access road in Swanzey, NH., from the Dillant-Hopkins Airport Maintenance hangar to the WWTP gate. a. Approximately 7,900 linear feet by 20 feet wide, or 17,650 square yards. B. The Work includes the following: 1. Excavation to include milling of asphalt surfaces or other removal of asphalt paving, uncovering utility structures, and removal of unsuitable material. 2. Reconstruction, replacement, or grade adjustment of utility surface structures, including protection of work and maintaining road access through all phases of the project. 3. Preparation and construction of asphalt pavement base, leveling, and wear courses. 4. Placement and compaction of shoulder or other gravel courses. 5. Retro-reflective paint pavement markings, landscape grading, signage, or other incidentals to roadway rehabilitation included in the plans and details. Resurface the 1.5 mile access road from Dillant-Hopkins Airport to the Keene Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Questions regarding this project shall be directed to Purchasing & Contract Services Manager, in writing, via the current project database
