Renovation of a municipal facility in Yreka, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Any bid received after the time and date listed above will be returned unviewed. Q&A period: March 20, 2025, to March 24, 2025. Reponses will be posted March 25, 2005 Project Description: HHSA-SSD is looking for a licensed and qualified carpet installer to provide and replace the carpet of the north wing of the first floor at 2060 Campus Drive, Yreka, CA 96097. The existing carpet needs to be removed and disposed of and new carpet installed. The area that needs replacing is highlighted in Attachment A; the approximate square footage is 3,600. We would like carpet tiles similar to the quality of Shaw Hook Up carpet tiles. The color and pattern can be discussed at a later date. Bid Submittal Instructions: Each Bid shall be sealed and received at 1312 Fairlane Road, Yreka, CA 96097 or be submitted electronically to RFP_RFB_Submissions@co.siskiyou.ca.us. Please include "RFB # SSD 25-01" on front of envelope or in subject line of email. A breakdown of costs including but not limited to, removal, disposal, materials, prep work, padding, and any assessments required by California should be included within in the bid. Additionally, each bid shall include a completed Bid Submission Form (Attachment B) Questions: All questions must be received in writing and should be addressed to Lindsay Parker at 1312 Fairlane Road, Yreka, CA 96097 or lparker@co.siskiyou.ca.us . The deadline to submit questions is March 24, 2025. Non-Discrimination: The Vendor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the performance of any awarded contract. Conflict of Interest: Vendor covenants that it presently has no interest and shall not acquire an interest, direct or indirect, financial or otherwise, which would conflict in any manner or degree with the performance of the services hereunder. Vendor further covenants that, in the performance of this Contract, no subcontractor or person having such an interest shall be used or employed. Vendor certifies that no one who has or will have any financial interest under this Contract is an officer or employee of the County. Award of Contract: The award of the Contract, should it be awarded, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder or bidders whose Bid complies with all of the requirements prescribed, based on what is in the best interest of the County. Such award, if made, will be made within sixty (60) days after the opening of the sealed bids. The County of Siskiyou reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. The County reserves the right to award multiple contracts as a result of this Request for Bids (RFB). Attachment C is a sample contract.
