WVSDB Audiometric Exam Booth Question Deadline 04/01/2025 at 4:00 PM ET PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (WVSDB) to establish a contract to purchase and install an Audiometric exam booth. The vendor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete all Construction Services. The Vendor shall furnish any incidental work, materials, labor, and equipment that are necessary to complete the Construction services, even if such incidental work is not explicitly included in the Project Plan.ENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 3.1 Purchase and Installation of Audiometric Exam Booth with a minimum 1 year warranty 3.1.1 Minimum single wall construction 3.1.2 Jack panel with cable pass through 3.1.3 Acoustically engineered ventilation 3.1.4 Recessed LED lighting 3.1.5 Acoustic door with camlift hinges, minimum 32" clear opening 3.1.6 Window, double glazed, laminated, safety glass minimum 30" by 24". 3.1.7 Externally mounted outlet strip. 3.1.8 Minimum size 6'4"W x 4'0"L x 6'6"H, Maximum 10'0"W x 9'4"L x 6'6"H 3.1.9 ADA accessible 3.1.10 Remove existing sound booth 3.2 Install owner provided flooring and wallbase in room that contains new soundbooth. Contractor to provide appropriate adhesive after performing moisture test on concrete slab. Remove existing flooring and wallbase and prepare for installation of new flooring and wallbase. 3.3 Connect and calibrate equipment. 3.4 Properly clean and dispose materials in work area. 3.5 Coordinate with WVSDB staff to ensure proper fire safety. 3.6 Vendor is responsible for accurate measurements of all items.
