Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kent, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Kent is requesting qualifications in professional engineering services for the design of the WRF Influent Headworks Building. The design services include topo surveying, utility location, engineering design, and preparation of bidding documents including plans, specifications, bid book and cost estimate. The proposed project includes the replacement of the existing screen, existing detritus tanks; a new structure to house the screen, compactor and associated electrical equipment; repurposing the pre-aeration tank to become a flow equalization basin. It is anticipated that the selected Consultant will be authorized to proceed in May 2025. Construction has been scheduled for late 2026. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
