Questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to the Contract Officer, Evan Young, VCA, Buyer not later than 1:00 P.M. EST on March 13, 2025. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. PURPOSE: The County of York, Virginia (Owner) is seeking the services of a contractor to furnish/provide services for the reskinning of the waste transfer station building. SCOPE OF WORK: Reskinning services for York County's Waste Management Transfer Station building shall include, but not be limited to, the following Scope of Work, and as more fully described in the attachments posted to eVA with this solicitation: Removal of existing standing seam roof and metal wall panels. Removal and replacement of any damaged girts and/or purlins. Replacement of both standing seam roof and metal wall panels with NUCOR Buildings Group R-Panel Metal Wall Panel System The panels shall be 24 gauge and the color shall be Slate Gray. Installation shall be in accordance with "Master-Spec 13.34.19" published to eVA with this solicitation, as well As the Work resulting from this IFB occurs at a disposal facility, the Contractor shall be permitted to dispose of rubble and debris at this location. Should the Contractor utilize this location for the disposal of rubble and debris, an account with Republic Services must be opened. Regular working hours for wall panel installation shall be at any time, Monday through Sunday, unless otherwise noted, except that all holidays listed in Section C, Supplement # 105-VI-6.5 of this IFB are outside regular working hours. Working hours may be modified upon mutual written agreement between the Owner and Contractor. Regular working hours for roof installation shall be between 4:00 PM and 4:00 A.M., Monday through Saturday; and any time on Sunday, unless otherwise noted, except that all holidays listed in Section C, Supplement # 105-VI-6.5 of this IFB are outside regular working hours. Working hours may be modified upon mutual written agreement between the Owner and Contractor. The awarded Contractor shall employ and maintain throughout the Project a qualified supervisor and he or she shall have been designated in writing by the Contractor as the Contractor's representative for the site. The supervisor shall have full authority to act on behalf of the Contractor and all communications given to the supervisor shall be the same as if given to the Contractor. The supervisor or a designated representative shall be present on the site at all times as required to perform adequate supervision and coordination of the Work.
