As of April 10, 2025, the construction manager will be presenting the bid results to the school board soon. Project is currently on schedule. The work will be accomplished through multiple contracts with Crosby-Ironton School District 182, with Contegrity Group Inc. acting as the Construction Manager. The following categories of work will be bid (subject to change): Demolition/ General Construction/Masonry, Gypsum Board, Acoustical Treatments, Painting, Casework & Countertops, Mechanical/ Plumbing /HVAC, and Electrical. Project Scope: Interior remodeling of Gymnasium, Classrooms, Athletic areas, Auditorium, Restrooms and related Support Spaces in an existing Sprinklered Secondary School Building. Existing facility is two-story, 213, 637 SF divided into 5 Fire Areas by existing fire walls. Project is scattered throughout areas of building. This project has a Prevailing Wage Requirement. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security. If awarded a contract, each successful Bidder shall be required to furnish both Performance and Payment Bonds covering faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising under such contract. Such bonds shall be the latest edition of the AIA Document A312/CM, in the amount equal to 100% payment. If the contract is less than $75,000 an irrevocable Letter of Credit from a financial institution will be acceptable under the same terms and conditions of Performance & Payment Bonds. Crosby-Ironton School District 182 reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Bids may not be withdrawn or modified within forty-five (45) days after the closing time and date Construction is anticipated to commence late April 2025 and complete prior to the start of the new school year in September 2025.
