Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists of additions and renovations to the Howard-Winneshiek CSD campus in Cresco, Iowa. Work will be performed throughout their K-12 facility in a phased approach. The current High School/southern portion of the building will receive (3) additions. All additions will be constructed with load bearing masonry block with brick and stone exterior to match the existing high school, with open web joists and metal deck roof construction. The additions consist mostly of new classroom spaces, as well as a new Front Office. Renovations will occur to spaces such as: Art Room, Science Rooms, Band Room, Auditorium, F&CS, and Restrooms. An alternate will propose removal of grass and replacement with turf over drainage system in (2) current courtyards. New plumbing, electrical, fire alarm and sprinkler lines will be ran through the building which involves replacement of ceilings and light remodel of several additional spaces. The existing Elementary and Jr. High spaces will receive renovations in the Front Office area for a secure entrance, and remodeling of classrooms for new Kindergarten spaces and Special Education Level 3 rooms.
