The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Term: Total contract time: 550 days, ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $2,300,000.00 No pre-bid meeting will be held. It is the responsibility of the bidder to become familiar with the site. The County reserves the right to reject the submittal of a bidder who has previously failed to perform properly or to complete contracts of a similar nature on time; and A Bid bond shall accompany each Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount and shall be valid for a period not less than one hundred twenty (120) days. QA Yes, the electrical building is included as part of this project scope. Please refer to VCU specifications for approved manufacturers. Only those listed will be acceptable for this project. This symbol represents a special purpose outlet. It was included just in case the air handlers required some type of special circuit for operation. The contractor shall determine if this special outlet is required once coronation has occurred with the air handler and other components within the building. Special note, all receptacles shown on the exterior of the building shall be waterproof. The conduit specified for use inside of the building is to be EMT as specified in 16410 - 2.02.C. and 3.02.E.2. There is not a specific requirement for National Electrical Testing Association certification. However, the contractor is cautioned that other certifications and requirements are necessary for this contract including, but not limited to, a license professional engineer registered in the State of Florida (see note 13 on drawing E1).
