Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Scope of Work: The work on this project will include but is not limited to removal and replacement of approx. 478 lf of existing 10 terra cotta sewer main alongwith 2 manholes, existing home laterals, pavement trench restoration, concrete curb and sidewalk replacement. By-Pass pumping may be needed. There is also an alternate bid for replacement of another 364 lf 10 terra cotta sewer main and 3 manholes. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurers check, bank cashiers check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents.A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency,and shall be accompanied by 10% bid guaranty, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omission informalities relative thereto.
