Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the remodel of a clubhouse / community center; and seven-story above grade multi-residential development.
Removal of existing carpet and vinyl base and installation of new carpet in the community room and in hallways on Floors 1 through 7 at the South Highrise. Sealed bids are invited from prime contractors for general construction work. Construction documents will be available electronically; bidders must print their own hard copies. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government bond, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Performance and Labor and Materials Bonds. Attention is directed to wage rate requirements and equal employment opportunity provisions. The Carbondale Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after bid opening without consent. The construction period is ninety (90) calendar days. The successful bidder shall obtain and pay for all required licenses, permits, and associated fees, and submit copies to the Authority.
