ESTIMATE OF PRINCIPAL ITEMS Unclassified Excavation 1,310 CY Base Course (12") 45 SY Bituminous Pavement 45 SY Raised Sanitary Manholes 2 EA Storm Sewer 300 LF Storm Structures 1 EA Plan Holders are required to provide an e-mail address to receive addenda and other information online. Plan Holders are required to designate whether they are a prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier, which will be posted on the project Plan Holders List. All bidders must include a Statement of Bidder's Qualifications with sealed Bids. Bidders who submit a bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the issuing office. Bids from Bidders not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as being not responsive. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to at least 10% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the Contractor will, within 10 days of receipt of the Notice of Award, furnish the Owner with a Performance and Payment Bond equal to the Contract price. Portions of this Contract may be funded in part by an Urban Water Quality Grant from the Dane County Land and Water Resources Department. The Village of Mount Horeb reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any bid that it deems advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the time set for bid opening. The Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
