Reference Number 0000380168 The City of Dexter is seeking a contractor to complete the following work regarding the project: Replacement of galvanized water lines from the curb box to the water meter of 10 residencies within the City of Dexter. This work includes: All excavation All furnishment (City will purchase and provide selected contractor with water meters and meter ends) All installation, which Includes but not limited to: Isolation valves Water meter Couplings Site restoration (all backfill and hydroseed with substanical growth) Price for both PVC and copper should be provided in pricing table Copper lines must be Type K PVC lines must be HDPE or PEX Replacement of exisiting water meter at residence, including reconnection to exisiting plumbing inside the home The City is limited to $25,000 worth of replacements for the current fiscal year, so utilizing the measurements provided on the following page, give an estimate to the number of homes that can be completed within the City's budget.
