Renovation of a residential development in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The estimated cost of the project is 73,507.80. The McKean County Redevel opment Author ity will receive bids to undertake a Bradford Township Housing Rehabilitation Project at 181 Gates Hollow This project in-cludes the follow ing Base Bid item: (1) New Roofing, Repair Door Entry Flooring and new exterior door. Add Alternate Bid Items (1) Re-move and replace OSB board and skirting; (2) Re-move and replace heating unit; (3) In-stall subdrain pipe trench and clean out. The Scope of work in the bid packet will provide additional details and drawings. In order to submit a bid, copies of the specifications and documents to sub-mit must be re-quested by contact-ing the Redevelop-ment Authority. A Bid Guarantee in the amount equal to 10% of the Base Bid is to be included with the contractor's bid submission. This Bid Guaran-tee may be in the form of a bond. Cashier's Check. or a Letter of Credit from a bank. The MCRA will return the Bid Guarantee to unsuccessful bid ders upon award of this contract. The Successful Bidder shall be re-quired to provide a quired lead base paint training certifica-tion, be a re gistered home im-provement con-tractor with the At-torney General's Office, and have the required insur-ance information. Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this job for all bids over $25,000. The McKean County Redevelop-ment Authority re-serves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any inform-alities in the bid-ding process.
