Site work for a water / sewer project in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work essentially involves the installation of a fixed base advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system and appurtenances including, but not limited to, a data collection system, telecommunication equipment and the installation of water meters and meter interface units. Meters, Meter Interface Units (MIUs) and Data Collection Units (DCUs) will be furnished by the Authority to the Contractor. Installation of the facilities installed as part of this Contract shall be conducted on Authority and privately owned properties. The Authority currently has approximately 5,788 metered connections within its service territory. Water service to the Authority's customers is metered through meters ranging in size from 5/8" x 3/4" diameter residential meters to 6" diameter cold water meters. Project Cost Estimate: $1,100,000. Project Location: The work is located throughout the entire water service area of the Authority. The Authority serives four municipalities situated within McKean County. Proposed Start Date: June 4, 2025. Estimated Completion Date: December 31, 2026.
