Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Girard, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The EMMANUEL COMMUNITY CARE CENTER MASONRY & WINDOWS PROJECT will consist of removing the existing windows (27 total) in the supportive housing apartments on the second floor of the building and replacing them with commercial grade windows that are water tight, masonry repairs/restoration work for one (1) existing chimney and grinding out and tuck pointing the portions of the North, South, East and West walls, applying waterproofing treatment to building bricks, cornices, capitals, and all other stone elements for the entire structure, and applying joint sealants as directed. These items are a partial listing of the quantities contained in the bid documents, therefore, the Bidders should review the bid document for a complete itemization of all quantities of work. The contractor shall complete the work within fifty (50) calendar days of the "Notice To Proceed" date. The contractor shall pay liquidated damages for each consecutive calendar day of delay thereafter until completed in the amount of $250,00 per day. Any questions resulting from the site visit or found in the bid documents must be forwarded to the Architect no later than Thursday, April 10, 2025. A summary of all questions and comments resulting from the site visits will be issued as an Addendum to these bid documents. When visiting the site, no contractor or personnel is permitted to walk on adjacent roofs unless they have notified the owner of the respective property and obtained explicit permission to do SO.
