Portsmouth Square Improvement Project (Rebid) SOURCING EVENT ID.: 0000011131 This Project Involves the Renovation of Portsmouth Square, an Existing Public Park Located Above the Portsmouth Square Parking Garage in San Franciscos Chinatown District. the Project Will Demolish Nearly All Existing Park Features and the Kearny Street Pedestrian Bridge. the Existing Upperlevel Restrooms and the Parking Garage Below Will Remain in Place. the Plaza Will Be Completed With New Drainage and Waterproofing, New Paving, Landscape Planters, Irrigation, Decorative Walls, Stairs, Curbs, Railings, Shade Structures, Playground Structures, Lighting, and Electrical Systems. Architectural Work Includes the Construction of a Clubhouse Building and Select Retrofit of Structural Concrete. the Existing Hilton Hotel Building at the East Side of the Pedestrian Bridge as Well as the Parking Garage Below Shall Be Occupied and Used by the Public During Construction. The time allowed for completion is 760 consecutive calendar days. The estimated construction cost is approximately $42,000,000.
