Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Work generally includes asphalt paving, concrete paving, concrete sloped entry, sloped entry with curb, integral curb at walk, curb at playground, concrete curb 9" exposed, concrete curb 18" exposed, engineered wood fiber, playground equipment, fitness equipment, picnic shelter, bench, picnic table, game table, interpretive sign, playground underdrainage, drain cleanout, mitered drain, baggo game, shade trees, woodland restoration seed mix, and lawn restoration. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract. All contracts for work herein are subject to all Park District rules and regulations, and providing for the payment of McHenry County's prevailing wage rate to all workers involved in these projects. All bids will remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. The Crystal Lake Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the Park District.
