Site work for a civil project in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Crystal Lake, Illinois seeks a qualified consulting firm for design engineering services and construction engineering assistance for the reconstruction of Lift Station 6 (LS 6). It is located in the right-of-way at the west corner of Keith Avenue and Harold Street. LS 6 is a dry pit lift station that is estimated to have been installed and placed into service in 1957 and then rehabbed with new pumps between 1972 and 1974. It is a collector of a small, older tributary area located just to the North of US Route 14. The force main effluent is discharged to the gravity sanitary sewer collection system that flows to the south to Wastewater Treatment Plant #2, located at the intersection of McHenry Avenue and Dartmoor Drive. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
