The City of Dover, New Hampshire is requesting Proposals from qualified contractors to consult, plan and install Ethernet, fiber, composite and other telecommunications wiring throughout select municipal facilities on an ad-hoc basis for a one-year term with an option to renew for second and third years. Submitted Rates shall hold for one year and will be negotiated for the optional two one-year extensions. Rate increases, if any, for additional years will not exceed the Consumer Price Index (Boston). The contract pricing will be based on Time and Materials Only. The City of Dover is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced partner in supporting physical wiring planning, installation, testing, repair and documentation needs. The City of Dover anticipates four separate projects to occur shortly after award of bid. These projects give a rough approximation of planned work at the start of the first one-year agreement. Project 1: Public Network Wiring (White, Cat 6A Ethernet) City Hall 8 drops Dover Ice Arena 3 drops Dover Indoor Pool 4 drops Three separate water plants. 1 drop per plant Video Wiring (Green, Cat 6 Ethernet) Dover Indoor Pool 3 drops Project 2: Office Data Wiring (Blue, Cat 6 Ethernet) South End Fire Station, approximately 20 drops Project 3: Office Data Wiring (Blue, Cat 6 Ethernet) Central Fire Station, approximately 16 drops Project 4: Security Wiring (Light blue, Composite) Inspection Services Building, 6 drops Video Wiring (Green, Cat 6 Ethernet) Inspection Services Building, 3 drops Question Deadline 03/24/2025 Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent (k.cragin@dover.nh.gov) no later than seven (7) business days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. The City of Dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the City; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the City to do so.
