Perform maintenance dredging of the New York Harbor, Sandy Hook Federal Navigation Channel. The dredged material will be transported and placed at the Sea Bright Offshore Borrow Area (SBOBA), located approximately 5 miles southeast of Sandy Hook Point, NJ. Additionally, stockpile placement will occur at Lot J of the National Park Service (NPS) Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area or other stockpile site(s) identified by NPS. The scope includes mobilization and demobilization of equipment, dredging of Areas A, B, and C to -35 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) with a 2-foot allowable overdepth, transportation and placement of dredged material, black box monitoring, and survey and translocation efforts for Northeastern Beach Tiger Beetles. Option items for dredging Areas B and C may be exercised within 35 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
