ADS Replacement Well Location Study Western Municipal Water District (Western) is seeking a qualified firm to provide Professional Geological Engineering Services (Consultant) for the Preliminary Design and Preparation of Well Drilling Construction Documents for a replacement municipal well in the W-336 ADS Replacement Well and Pipeline Project. The new municipal well will be in the vicinity of the five identified sites in the attached "Figure 5" from the Arlington Basin Recharge Project performed in 2020 by Geoscience. The study will analyze the geology and hydrogeology of the aquifer, and the water quality characteristics in order to determine a feasible location for the new well. Exploratory drilling shall be identified in the proposal with a recommendation as being either required or optional. The location of the project is in the vicinity of the preliminary sites illustrated in "Figure 5" but may include a site other than one of the five illustrated. Consideration at each site shall be given to the productive capability of the aquifer, water quality, potential for interference with other nearby wells, groundwater level drawdown, regulatory compliance for separation to other utilities, and constructability.
