The City of Cincinnati is requesting bids to provide repairs to the Fleet services and Cormany buildings. This includes structural repairs, mechanical equipment replacements, electrical systems upgrades, installing a fire alarm, new windows, plumbing, and general repairs to the building Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Jennifer Sherman, via email at jennifer.sherman@cincinnati-oh.gov. Please submit all questions, in writing, via email, by March 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM ET. The mandatory subcontracting inclusions goals for this bid are assigned to each trade, respectively, as provided below: o General Construction: 9% MBE and 3.5% WBE o Plumbing: 3% MBE and No WBE goals o Electrical: 4% MBE and 7% WBE o Mechanical: No subcontracting inclusion goals o Combo: 8%MBE and 3.5 % WBE The contractor shall secure delivery of all equipment and materials required and shall complete on-site work within 365 calendar days from receipt of notice to begin work. A Bid Bond, deposit of cash or Certified Check, Bank Cashier's or Bank Official's Check drawn on a solvent bank payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cincinnati, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into. Bidder must use the Construction Bid Surety and Signature Form included in Volume 2, as no other will be accepted. The amount of liquidated damages to be paid by the contractor for each and every working day that they are in is $500.00 per day. The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids.
