Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Newcastle, Wyoming. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Department of Corrections (Procuring Agency) will be accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) until 1:00 p.m. MT on April 18, 2025, through the Public Purchase online bidding system from licensed architects/engineers for the HVAC / Electrical Upgrades and Site Work Design at the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp, located in Newcastle, Wyoming. Only proposals submitted through the Public Purchase site and on State of Wyoming forms will be considered. Project Description: This project involves a comprehensive evaluation of the existing on-site chiller. If the existing chiller is deemed non-compliant or unsuitable for this project, WDOC will proceed with a design and implementation of a new chiller system to meet the facility's operational requirements. Regardless of the outcome, all necessary upgrades--including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system modifications--will be included in the project scope. Additionally, all applicable site work, such as utility line locating prior to excavation, will be incorporated. Furthermore, all existing rooftop units will be relocated to ground-mounted pads as part of the project. Questions: All questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 1:00 p.m. MT on April 4, 2025.
