The City of Orange City (City) is seeking the support of an Engineer for a wide range of engineering, technical, and administrative services related to projects funded by the City including projects which may be grant funded. Projects will be limited to construction cost of $7,500,000 or study costs of $500,000 (F.S.S. 287.055). The Engineer may utilize sub-consultants. The Engineer shall function as an extension of the City by providing qualified technical and professional personnel to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned under this Agreement for General Engineering Services. Should any portion of any Work be funded with Federal funds, the Consultant must comply with the Federal Contract Provisions as detailed in 200 CFR. The City shall request ENGINEERING services on an as needed basis. There is no guarantee that any or all of the services described in the following Scope of Services will be assigned during the term of this Agreement. Further, the ENGINEER is providing these services on a non-exclusive basis. The City, at its option, may elect to have any of the services set forth herein performed by ENGINEER through other Agreements or by CITY staff, and select up to three ENGINEERS and rotate the work among them.
