Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a military facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a military facility.
Project Description: This project is a design-build construction project. Construction of a 2,125 square foot single story addition to the Building 66b Bay. The exterior shall be CMU masonry building matching aesthetic of existing adjacent building. The building structure consists of slab on grade concrete floor, spread footing foundations and a structural steel skeleton. The roof structure will be steel joists supporting metal roof deck with a membrane system. A new HVAC system will be installed to support the new addition. A new panel will be added to the existing electrical system to service the addition. A new wall mounted rack will be added, and fiber will be added from the existing rack to the new rack. All new IT drops will be extended from the new rack. New fire alarm circuits will be connected to the existing fire alarm control panel. A new 525 square foot metal canopy will be added at the existing ramp & steps existing asphalt pavement will be demolition and patching to facilitate the new addition and utility relocation. The remaining asphalt pavement within the project will be milled and overlayed. The existing 21" diameter storm drain piping and 8" water piping will be demolished and relocated. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 420 calendar days
