The City of Renton is seeking proposals from artists or artist teams to create a public art plan for Legacy Square, a new community hub set to open in mid-2026. This initiative aims to enhance the space with murals, sculptures, art wraps, and interactive features that reflect the values of inclusivity, community, and cultural vibrancy. The selected artist(s) will develop a cohesive art plan for multiple designated locations within Legacy Square, including a mural or large-scale art installation, a gateway sign, and additional sculptural or integrated artistic elements. Artists will work closely with City staff and community stakeholders to ensure the artwork aligns with the community's vision.
