District Wide Folding Wall Replacements Cascade Elementary School 16022 116th Ave SE, Renton, WA 98058 Renton Park Elementary School 16828 128th Ave SE, Renton, WA 98058 Hazelwood Elementary School 7100 116th Ave SE, Newcastle, WA 98056 Kennydale Elementary School 1700 NE 28th St, Renton, WA 98056 Description of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to: Demolition and replacement of new movable partition walls in gymnasium and commons areas and stage and related accessories and adjacent patch and repair of wall, ceiling, and flooring materials in multiple elementary schools. The Project includes inherent complexities due to its short duration. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: BASE BID: $210,000 Alternate 1: $50,000 Alternate 2: $120,000 230,000 Bid Bond: Certified check, bank cashiers check, or bid bond is required with each Bid, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid. Withdraw of Bid: No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the time set for the opening thereof, unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days
