Work includes furnishing, placing, operating, maintaining, and removing portable changeable message signs. Signs shall be installed 2 weeks prior to commencement of construction. When no longer required on the project, the portable changeable message signs shall remain the property of the Contractor. The signs shall comply with Section 12-3.32 "Portable Changeable Message Signs," of the State Standard Specifications. This project entails alley pavement reconstruction, removal and replacement of sidewalk and alley entrance construction where the alleys meet public streets, construction of new sidewalks with driveway removals and replacement, relocation of fences, walls and gates, removal and replacement of pedestrian ramps and paved curb returns, traffic signal construction, striping and signage construction, and RPU Street Light work, all as shown on the project plans.
