Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes the following work: The UW ADA Parking Improvement Project is an ongoing initiative to provide accessible parking (compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements) at key locations on campus in response to a Consent Decree imposed on the University of Washington. Phase 3.2 includes improvements at the parking lot E03 and garage lots N27, N28, W20, W21, W22, and W23. The scope at E03 includes, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, pavement removal, regrading, asphalt and concrete paving, striping, and signage installation. The scope at the garage lot N27 includes grinding of existing asphalt, regrading, and asphalt overlay at a limited area above an existing below-grade sensitive space, along with striping and signage installation. The scope at N28 includes removal of pavement striping, restriping, and signage installation. The scope at the garage lots W20-23 includes removal of pavement striping/signage, restriping, and signage installation in an existing garage structure. All work will be verified by a third-party testing agency under contract with UW, and an additional testing agency under contract with Plaintiff. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding 60 days.
