Site work and paving for a road / highway in Madison, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the award of a contract for the Intersection Improvements at Gooch Lane and Wall Triana Hwy. This project consists of full signal replacement with the addition of pedestrian push buttons, pedestrian ramp installation, sidewalk installation with additional crosswalk striping, and installation of handrail at the culvert crossing as well as a 12' access gate for ditch and culvert maintenance. The project includes all work items necessary to complete the project and must conform to ADA/PROWAG requirements. Contractor must perform work under traffic using MUTCD standards for traffic control. Working hours are 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday. Any lane or road closures will only be allowed between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed.
