Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Carlisle Brks, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work will consist of the design and construction of up to thirty-six (36) concrete pedestrian ramps to current PennDOT/ADA standards. The Borough reserves the right to change these approximate quantities dependent upon available funding and to designate final curb elevation for specific ramps and curb cuts when deemed necessary to facilitate stormwater drainage. In cases where the Borough elects to designate curb elevation or curb cuts, such designations shall be made prior to the contractor's commencement of work at those locations. All questions must be submitted electronically to Jeff Bergsten, P.E., jbergsten@carlislepa.org no later than 1:30 p.m. on March 25, 2025. No questions will be addressed via phone calls. All bid proposals shall be properly executed in ink without alterations and shall be complete. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100 %) of the bid price. If the anticipated project cost is at least $25,000, Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required. Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Borough.
