North Middleton Township (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: North Middleton Township Basin Retrofits The Project includes the following Work:- The retrofit of an existing Township-owned stormwater basin by means of excavation and the installation of new stormwater structures and piping. Additionally, the project includes the restoration of an existing drainage swale and discharge channel that drains into the Conodoguinet Creek where it flows along the North Middleton Township Municipal Complex. Statutory Requirements. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
