Under an Interagency Agreement, the U.S. Department of Transportation Volpe National Transportation Systems Center is supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Targeted Brownfields Assessments (TBA) program. The work involves conducting a sampling survey of hazardous building materials--including asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint (LBP), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)--at the former Frog, Switch & Manufacturing Company site. The purpose of the survey is to identify and document the presence, locations, and quantities of hazardous materials to support planning for renovation, demolition, or redevelopment activities in compliance with applicable regulations. The contractor must be a Pennsylvania-certified asbestos inspector and possess all required state licenses. All work must be performed in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements, following the most stringent standards where inconsistencies exist. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the tasks outlined in the Statement of Work. Location: 600 East High Street, Carlisle, PA. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance for the resulting award will be date of award to November 1, 2025.
