Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Merced, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, remove of existing sidewalk, curb & gutter, asphalt concrete, cross gutter, remove striping, and remove trees. Contractor to install new sidewalk, new curb and gutter, new asphalt concrete, new striping, new truncated domes and new ADA ramps. See bid Schedule for more details. Such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Drawings and Technical Specifications Plans, City of Merced Standard Specifications and Typical Details, and the Special Conditions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. The project is located on East 11th Street, D Street and E Street. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Merced. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION: The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A or C-8 license at the time of submitting bids. LOCAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION: The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) participation goal is five percent (5%). ADDRESS AND MARKING OF BIDS: The envelope enclosing the Bid shall be sealed and addressed to the City of Merced, 678 West 18th Street, Merced, CA 95340, and shall behand delivered or mailed to the Office of the Purchasing Agent before The envelope shall be plainly marked in the upper left-hand corner with the name and address of the Bidder and shall bear the words "BID FOR STOWELL SCHOOLSIDEWALKS & CROSSWALKS, PROJECT NUMBER CP250061, date and time" The certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond shall be enclosed in the same envelope with the Bid.
