Olmsted County is interested in creating a system-wide master plan for trails throughout Olmsted County. The trail plan will include community engagement and cooperation with other agencies and trail user groups to provide the most comprehensive plan. The master plan should help identify existing trails by other agencies such as State (DNR), cities, and bordering counties. New trail corridors can then be recommended based on existing trails, community input, and points of interest. Priorities should be identified to determine short term, mid-term, and long term goals with cost estimates. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued as a means of technical discovery and information gathering for planning purposes as the county develops a new branch of the Parks Department related to trails. The master plan will complement the current Parks Master Plans and incorporate transportation and land use plans from our Planning and Public Works Departments. Question Deadline 04/10/2025 at 2:00 PM CT RFI's may not be submitted after the submission deadline. The server clock shall govern. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
