Description

Renovation of a parking garage in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

Carpeting and Painting The project includes carpet replacement, trim replacement and wall painting, which will require shifting, lifting ofoffice furniture per phase. Also included is the replacement ofvinyl stair treads and vinyl flooring at stair landings and limited wall repairs prior to painting. The building will be occupied at all times during normal working hours, and it is anticipated the work to be conducted in fourteen phases. All carpet and carpet mastic will be Owner furnished and stored in Contractor furnished storage container on site. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 20 working days subsequent to the specified bid opening time. The contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and as set out in the detailed plans and specifications.
