A. Include all labor, materials, appliances and contractors services required for the furnishing, installing and testing, complete and ready for operation in a manner satisfactory to the architect all the Plumbing work shown on the drawings and specified herein. B. Scope of work shall include, but not necessarily limited to, the following 1. Drainage and vent systems 2. Cold water and hot water systems 3. Cutting and patching floor for floor drains and piping. 4. Connection to operating sanitary, water and gas systems C-Wing Basement Bathroom Project. Each bid, the total price of which exceeds $100,000.00 shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, including alternates, not to exceed $20,000. Corporate bidders are required by law to submit a list of the names and addresses of all interest-holders owning 10% or more of their interest. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 17:27 and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. The Contractor and listed sub-contractors are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" and must submit certification(s) in accordance with the law. Bidders and all listed sub-contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 for proof of Business Registration Certification. NJ Prevailing Wage Act are applicable for this project. Doc Notes :Bid Documents will not be mailed, emailed or available for pickup. They may only be downloaded from the FTP website with access granted upon request. Bidders must email their request at least one (1) business day in advance to gain access to bid documents. Bid date notes: Bids shall be received, either in person, at the hour designated in this notice, at the Owner's office, address referenced above or mailed or delivered in person ahead of the time for receipt to the designated location. If delivered ahead of time, they are to be inserted in a smaller bid envelope, sealed, and the small envelope is to be inserted into a larger envelope for mailing or delivery clearly marked "Sealed Bid". Please take note that some overnight delivery services offer a service which guarantees delivery of your packages by 9:00 A.M. The office may not be open at this early hour and some vendors are discovering that the delivery services will not re-attempt delivery of the package until after the bid opening. Please be guided accordingly. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that bids are presented to the Owner by the hour and at the place designated. If bids are to be hand-delivered: A) on days preceding the date of bid, hand-delivered bid submissions must be delivered to the Security Entrance Gate prior to 2:00 p.m.; or B) on the day of the bid, hand-delivered submissions MUST be delivered to, and in the hand of, the School Business Administrator or their designee at the Board Room prior to the Bid Opening Time. The onus is on the bidder to leave enough time to park and enter the building. In no case are bid submissions to be delivered or accepted later than bid opening time. Bidders may attend the bid opening in person in the PCTI Board Room at the advertising date & time. All attendees must check-in at the Security Entrance Gate and obtain a visitor badge, where you will be directed to the visitor parking lot. NO BIDS SHALL BE ACCEPTED, IN PERSON OR BY MAIL, AFTER THE HOUR DESIGNATED FOR RECEIPT.
