**As of May 06, 2025, the project was awarded to Haas Sons & Haas Transport, Inc., with an awarded amount of $3,776,669.37.** Description: The Project includes the following work: City street reconstruction including the replacement of water main, sanitary sewer gravity and force mains, storm sewer, services, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. Additional Description: Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and per the Contract Documents prepared by CBS Squared Inc. identified as "Maple Street Reconstruction". No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. Bidder is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within 72 hours of the bid opening to CBS Squared, Inc., ATTN: Kristi Lentz, 770 Technology Way, Suite 1A, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Stanley reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 61 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 61 Days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. This Contract is expected to be funded in part with funds provided by Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) and Clean Water Fund Program (CWFP). Information on applicable federal requirements is contained in the Project Manual. Use of American Iron & Steel: Projects financed in whole or in part by the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program/Clean Water Fund Program are required to use American iron and steel. Bid proposals may be denied if the requirements of this Section are not met. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and sub -contractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part with federal funds in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, as determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. If the requirements of Davis Bacon, the State of Wisconsin and the Contract requirements conflict with regard to wages, the highest of the three shall apply.
