Site work for a water / sewer project in Hazard, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
There will be one contract for the work, Contract A. The work will be divided into two portions, the first for investigation, discovery and project definition, the second for actual construction. The project will investigate and then rehabilitate approximately 6,350' of 30" sanitary sewer trunk and related appurtenances. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The Owner also expressively reserves the right to delete certain portions of the project should available project funds be exceeded by the best bidder. The CONTRACTOR should carefully review the Plans for the area where items may be removed to match available funding. Each BIDDER must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Additionally, Bidder shall submit with their Bid a 'Certificate of Incumbency' if they are incorporated and shall submit those appropriate documents listed in the Information for Bidders. Attention of all bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed under the contract. Minimum Wage Rates (Federal) are a part of this project. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The Owner also expressively reserves the right to delete certain portions of the project should available project funds be exceeded by the best bidder.
