The City of Ketchikan Port & Harbors requests sealed bids for janitorial services for the Berth III restrooms at 417 Water Street, the Berth IV restrooms at 105 Schoenbar Court and the Thomas Basin Promenade restroom at 320 Stedman Street, Contract No. 25-25. The period for these services will be from April 18 to October 19, 2025 The City of Ketchikan reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or technicality in the interest of the City. The services required are detailed in Exhibit A Quotes shall be provided on the page titled "Quote for Berth III, Berth IV and Thomas Basin Promenade Restrooms Janitorial Services, Contract No. 25-25", provided in this request for quotes. Quotes for daily midday and overnight cleaning of Berths III and Thomas Basin restrooms shall state the cost per month for the period April 18, 2025 to October 19, 2025, and be based on performing these services every midday and night there have been cruise ships at berths I, II, and III during that day. There are 142 days between April 18, 2025 to October 19, 2025 that there are ships at berths I, II, and III. Quotesfor daily midday and overnight cleaning of Berth IV restrooms shallstate the cost per month for the period April 18, 2025 to October 19, 2025, and be based on performing these services every midday and overnight there have been cruise ships at any of the berth IV and/or Ward Cove during that day. There are 142 days between April 18, 2025 to October 19, 2025 that there are ships at berth IV and/or Ward Cove. Payments will be processed once a month. Persons or businesses interested in submitting a quote are encouraged to contact Craig Bisson at the Port and Harbors Department to arrange for an inspection of the interior of the facilities prior to submitting their quotes.
