Pavement repair may require removal of old pavement and possible haul away of debris. The debris can be transported to the city garage at the discretion of the Public Works Director. Sections that are in good condition may be left and worked around at the discretion of the city. Bids must be submitted by cost per sq. ft. for demolition and construction separately. Please note any additional fee items including equipment, etc. The expected amount of work to be repaired is approximately 4000 linear feet for crack fill and 20,000 sq ft for asphalt install, but the total length of repair is at the discretion of the city. The work is intended to be completed by December 31, 2025. Bid form must be filled out completely to be considered. Bidders may call for an appointment to look at possible locations with the Public Works Director. Additional work may be completed at the discretion of the city based on the unit price as presented for sidewalks. The contractor will provide all necessary protective measures to safeguard existing utilities from damage during the construction of this project. In the event that special equipment is required to work over and around the utilities, the contractor will be required to furnish such equipment. The contractor shall notify each individual utility owner of his plans of operation in the area of utilities prior to commencing work. The contractor shall contact the utility owners and request them to properly locate their respective utility on the ground. This notification shall be given at least three (3) business days prior to commencement of operations around the utility
