Project Specifications a. Pit #1- Lumax NW 23 34 32 Wl: approximately 15,000 yards b. Pit #2 - Burtnack NE 25 34 31 Wl: approximately 15,000 yards. c. All amounts are approximate and dependent on availability of material in the pit. Adjustments may be made to have the total yardage (30,000) crushed throughout the pits. d. For the 2025 year, aggregate specifications are approximated as follows: 1. Per Pit - approximately 15,000 cubic yards of 1" crushed road gravel (gravel is to be 7 /8" size and shall be no smaller than 3/4 11 and no larger that 1" in diameter). e. Final payment will be based on the actual measured stockpile (by drone) BEFORE hauling commences. No allowance will be given for gravel compaction. This scaling map is responsibility of the crusher and should be completed as soon as possible after the crush and included with the final bill. f. Prior to a Final Payment, a site meeting between the Municipality and Contractor may be required. g. Stripping will be the contractors responsibility, rates shall be included in the tender. Tender Acceptance a. The Municipality reserves the right to refuse or accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender not necessarily be accepted. b. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular. Units of measure shall be in yards and per hour only. c. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality. Validity of Tenders a. A bidder may, without prejudice to himself, withdraw his tender at any time up to 9:00 am on the awarding day of the tenders. Preference may be given to a spring crush but crushing shall be completed by December 15, 2025.
