Site work and paving for a civil project in Moses Lake, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Estimated cost is $1,400,000 to $1,700,000. This contract provides for the reconstruction of 3.05 miles of Stratford Road from 20-NE to the BNSF RR Crossing, a two-lane county road in Grant County, WA. Work to include planning bituminous pavement, roadway excavation, embankment compaction, drainage, crushed surfacing, roadway striping, painted edge and centerline and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grant County. The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The award of this contract, if made, will be to the lowest responsible bidder. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
