Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Moses Lake, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install eight steel piles and nine floats at the existing ramp, grade, and asphalting the parking lot, and install a new entrance gate and information kiosk at the Department's Glen Williams Access area, located at O'Sullivan Dam Rd. Moses Lake, Washington 98837, 46.987742, -119.246005, in Grant County. No pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled, Contractors are strongly encouraged to independently visit the site. A. Base bids greater than $150,000; Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety. B. Base bids $150,000 or less, Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety, unless the Contractor agrees Owner may, in lieu of the bond(s), retain 10 percent of the Contract Sum for the period allowed by RCW 39.08.010 Engineer's Estimate: $711,400 In accordance with RCW 39.04.320 (Apprenticeship Training Programs), for all public works estimated by the Project Engineer to cost one million dollars or more, the state of Washington requires no less than 15% of the labor hours be performed by apprentices. A contractor or subcontractor may not be required to exceed the 15% requirement. The bid advertisement and Bid Form shall establish a minimum required percentage of apprentice labor hours compared to the total labor hours. If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. The Apprenticeship Utilization Requirements are identified in Section 00100 Instructions To Bidder. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs. Substantial Completion shall be achieved by December 2, 2025. Final Completion shall be achieved by December 31, 2025. ; LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - $881.00 for each consecutive calendar day that is in default after the Contract Time Bid Item 1: Piles: Install eight (8) steel piles on existing boat ramp. Bid Item 2: Floats: Install nine (9) Owner-Furnished 8' x 21' floats to installed piles, including abutment hinge. Bid Item 3: Grading and Asphalt: Install new asphalt in center open areas of the parking lot over added gravel for drainage and overlay on the existing road. New asphalt at each bathroom (3) for ADA parking. Perform all paint striping, wheel stops, and ADA signage. Bid Item 4: Gate and Kiosk: Install new Owner-Furnished entry gate.
