Renovation of a mixed-use development in Moses Lake, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center; and museum.
Design and install a solar array on the Civic Center; this array will allow the Civic Center to act as an emergency response center due to the battery backup and alternative source of power. Grant application completed by McKinstry on City of Moses Lakes behalf in the amount of $1,498,475 to cover a large portion of this project's construction costs, awarded 8/8/23. Total project costs are estimated at $2,140,678. As of June 2, 2025, this project is in the City of Moses Lake's capital budget FY 2025. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
