Scope: The City of Columbus' Department of Building and Zoning Services (hereinafter "City") is seeking a certified arborist (hereinafter "Contractor") to inspect assigned trees on private property and provide written reports containing information regarding the condition of the assigned trees. Per Columbus City Code 4525.11, the City of Columbus prohibits dead or dying trees which do not allow safe passage. The Contractor will assist with determining if the assigned trees are dead or dying and can expect approximately 100 requests per year. The City seeks to hire one (1) Contractor to perform the designated services. The contract amount will be up to $25,000.00 and run from approximately May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, and may be renewed for up to one year thereafter. Pre-Bid Facility Walk-Through: A pre-bid walk-through will not be held for this procurement effort. Questions: Questions regarding this bid must be submitted electronically by 12:00 pm Monday, March 24th, 2025. Responses will be posted on the RFQ on Vendor Services no later than Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Please remember to attach the Arborist Bid Form on line 10.
