Renovation of a laboratory facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
This project will renovate about 3,000 SF of existing space on the first floor of Newton Hall for Research Labs for the College of Nursing. Their current space is in the basement of the building so moving the Labs to the first floor will provide much more visibility. The required spaces will include a Flexible Laboratory, Tissue Culture Laboratory, Work Area, Freezer Rooms, Imaging Room, and Director's Office. EDGE Participation Goal: 5% of contract DOMESTIC STEEL USE IS REQUIRED PER ORC 153.011. The time for Substantial Completion of all Work is 120 consecutive days from the Notice to Proceed. The Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
