The complete tree maintenance care will include pruning, trimming, removal, replacement, stump grinding, emergency work, and pest control and work to a total of approximately 8,132 trees, 15 feet in height and above located in the public rights-of-way, including certain landscape easements in areas throughout the City. The award of the contract will be based on the lowest bid received for Schedules l-A and l-B. The term for this contract will be for two (2) years after receipt of the Notice to Proceed, and will terminate on June 30,2027, with an option to extend three (3) additional one (1) year terms, upon mutual written consent of the City Council and Contractor. Contractor shall perform additional work as requested by the City in accordance with the prices quoted in Schedule II, on an approved and authorized basis only.
