The City of DeSoto is advertising this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) to identify professional engineering, architecture and land surveying firms. The City is seeking professional services related to Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), other public improvement projects, and development reviews for private development projects. The selected firms will be considered as pre-qualified firms to provide services based on having met the qualifications and satisfying the requirements set forth in this RFSQ. The City will utilize the firms on an 'as needed' basis to assist City Staff with planned projects or unplanned emergent issues services. The selection of a firm does not guarantee the City will enter into a contract with the firm nor that funds will be allocated by the City Council for the project related work. Scopes of Work and professional service fees will be negotiated for each individual project, based on the individual needs of the City. The creation of this pool of firms is to ensure the City has the ability to quickly negotiate contracts with competent and qualified firms in an expedient and efficient manner.
