Site work and renovation of a civil project in Marysville, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of July 14,2025, the project was awarded to McClure and Sons, Inc., with an awarded amount of $489,861.47.** This project consists of modifications and additions at the City of Marysvilles existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), which include but are not limited to the following items: Demolishing three (3) existing chemical storage tanks and associated restraint systems. Demolishing vent piping, level sensors, level gauges, level transmitters, heating controllers, overflow pipes and ladders associated with the existing chemical storage tanks. Demolishing an existing mud valve and emergency shower/eyewash. Demolishing a portion of an existing concrete curb wall and adjacent asphalt paving. Demolishing and repairing a portion of an existing concrete slab to remove the existing emergency shower/eyewash and install a new one. Demolishing portions of the tank outlet piping, diaphragm isolation valves on the outlets, and portions of PAC fill piping. Demolishing high level alarm panel, LIT-768 panel, and associated supports. Demolishing LCP-750 and associated supports. Demolishing power wiring and portions of power conduit for the existing tank heating controllers. Demolishing power and signal wiring and portions of the power and signal conduit for the existing level sensors and level transmitters associated with each tank. Temporarily relocating and providing containment for two of the existing chemical storage tanks including temporary piping and valves to connect the two relocated storage tanks to the existing suction piping. Furnishing and installing three (3) new chemical storage tanks with manway and associated restraint systems. Furnishing and installing new vent piping, radar level sensor with universal ball dome fitting, level gauge, tank heating controller, overflow pipe and ladder with cage for each new chemical storage tank. Furnishing and installing new flexible hose, piping and isolation ball valve to connect the new tank outlets to the existing suction piping. Furnishing and installing new piping and a PVC union to connect the existing PAC fill pipe to the new tanks. Furnishing and installing a new emergency shower/eyewash station. Furnishing and installing a new mud valve. Replacement of removed asphalt paving. Furnishing and installing a new stainless steel panel with window to house the new level transmitters. Furnishing and installing conduit and wiring and new breakers to connect power to the new tank heating controllers from existing LP-450A. Furnishing and installing conduit and wire to connect power and signal to the new level transmitters from existing CP-423. Furnishing and installing conduit and wire to connect manufacturer signal cables between the new level sensors and level transmitters for each tank. Furnishing and applying coatings to repair select areas of the concrete surface in the existing chemical containment. Make modifications to CP-423 to power and receive signals from the new level transmitters and receive signals from the new flow switches. Make modifications to the PLC programming in CP-423 to integrate the new level transmitters. Make modifications to the existing SCADA programming to update the screens and settings for the new tanks and integrate the new level transmitters and flow switches. Conduct testing of the new tanks and level sensors/transmitters. All work must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Marysville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The City of Marysville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of fortyfive (45) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
